Core Beliefs
These are the core beliefs of Galena Assembly, based on the the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching is rooted in these core beliefs.
God
There is only one God who has three distinct persons. The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe God is the creator of all that exsists both visible and invisible and therefore worthy of all glory and praise.
Jesus Christ
God revealed himself to us through his son Jesus Christ, who is the God in the flesh. Christ came to reconcile us with God, he lived without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penilty for our transgressions. God Raised him from the dead. Jesus is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
Mankind
Created in the image of God, humans both male and female were created for his glory and appointed caretakers of the rest of God's creation. Sin entered the world through mankinds disobedience to God, causing them to fall out of fellowship with God.
Salvation
By the grace God offers as a free gift for all, eternal life to those who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior.
The Church
The church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gosepl of Jesus Christ
